We should stage dharna in front of houses of every leader who is for reservation, embarrass & humilite them to such an extent that they do not voice their opinion. (The same trick some bank employess did to revocer loans from high-profile persons)
Dear Friends,
I express deepest solidarity with this forum and believe that unless a mass platform is created, things in their present state cannot be changed. I am a doctoral student of Physics in the University of Notre Dame, Indiana, and would like to know in what ways I could help this forum. I and my friends would really like to become a part of this community fighting against the divisive forces of our country.
Warmest Regards,
Ayan Paul.
Hi Friends,
It is shameful indeed for an Indian to serve for a foreign nation but, I am afraid, I may have forced to join there as my place might be reserved for other. I would choose them who respect my merit rather than my cast. I have to rethink on my decision regarding returning to India after my graduation from an abroad university.
Politicians enjoy the ultimate power in India. This power has been gifted to them by us. Why we are still aligned to them who have been shown their poor sense of politics from the past two decades. We can develop ‘the one’ who will really respect the merit without abuse it through reservation. I urge for the development of such a political group in India.
Last but not the least, in our early school lessons we were taught that “if you keep a rotten apple in a bucket of fresh apple then the full bucket gets spoiled”. It is so unfortunate that our government have ensured some rotten apples in every bucket of the fresh apples.
Youth for Equality keep going.. I am with you..

We tamilnadu people know about the politicains very well than others.its very very difficult to get the govt to stop reservation. Please fight for separate 20% reseservation for the forward communities so that the OBC & sc/st cannot occupy our seats.Atleast get it done this rather than loosing all our demands.I pray god to give you full strength to fight for separate reservation for forward...

Suresh
Dear YFE Friends,
its time that you guys sit back and think seriously of the ways which will hit the government and the system hard. You need the populism slogans and the right mix of masala and punch. Now that no political party is against Quota, there is no way that the decision on quota will be rolled back! (a sad truth). Then, there is now the talk of quota in Corporates, and that is going to hurt all you guys and the youth of this country even more. Friends, we need to change the system, fight these political parties on their home grounds (!). We will have to start working on damaging these political parties' vote bank directly. Plus we need to cultivate the habit of staying in the headlines always.
Here is my suggestion:
1. Write to the election commission to have a separate option in all the Electronic Voting Machines where by there is the option of casting voting to none of the political parties (there are talks on this going on, I dont know how far this has been implemented. I read in a newspaper that this will most probably be implemented by next elections).
2. Tell the world that we youngsters are going to take up politics if more than 40% of the total votes casted goes to none of the political parties.
3. Put up a manifesto for such a scenario. Have all the punch in it that we youngsters have always dreamed of; like, Superpower India by 2015, money for jobless, healthcare for all, care for senior citizens, etc (if all these are possible in USA, it will be possible in India too)
4. Start talking with corporates for funds (this will give us more funds that those right now).
5. Start a campaign everywhere (internet, person-to-person, posters, banners etc etc).
6. Find support among NGOs, NRIs, Social Organizations etc (it shouldnt be difficult)
7. Continue with the agitations as well.
8. Urge middle, upper-middle, and upper class people to cast their votes (its only here with whos support we can make a difference. Also it is the upper-middle, and upper class, which is going to lose out in quotas. THIS GROUP CANNOT AND WILLNOT COME JOIN US ON THE STREETS, BUT WE CAN CONVINCE THEM TO VOTE.)
DEAR FRIENDS IF INDIA POLLS MORE THAN 90%, THEN WE CAN CHANGE THE FATE OF THIS COUNTRY.
THINK ON THIS DIRECTION.
Its not just your studies now, its your life (with quotas in PVT Sector, you will find it difficult to find a job, even if you are a doctor or an engineer).
If we can catch international headlines this way, we can make this a revolution and be a role model for the coming generations.
Regards

Manmohan Singh - "100

people in nrsmedical college are with this movement but they are being terrorized by the local political party to stay away from it.students and junior doctors supporting this movement are being beaten up by hired political goons(groupD staff and students from surendanath college wearing aprons) posing as doctors.people have to leave the hostels and the college premises as such-sitting demonstration organised on 22may in nrs has been thwarted posters for the campaign have been burnt.thereafter people actively participating in this movement has declined
i think they shud cancel ALL reservations and open few separate colleges run by scs/sts/obcs-itl be of the sc/st/obcs,by the sc/st/obcs,for the sc/st/obcs-we the general category candidates may have a 10%reservation in those colleges if the govt wishes to get votes from us at all.but the long and short of it is we can compete for all the seats rather than the ones these backward classes have not found palatable (and leftovers are consumed by the merited candidates) this will promote racism-but racisim will be rampant if this reservation is accomplished-i personally will check every doctors surname before getting any sort of medical help from him/her
way to kill arun singh-dont shoot him in rang de basanti style- make him memorize all the books we had to for our selection thatl kill him for sure .he isnt a doctor he will never understand our sentiments
the 1st line in the previous blog reads "arjun singh" im sorry i mistyped the word
I have been following the news all the way from Oxford. I have my heartfelt support with all of you. I wish I could dedicate myself for such a cause.

Students of NRS, we understand your situation. Keep contact with us RGKarians and CNMC. The political party you're talking about had to sit back here though they run the union.
hi,
please also join
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/noreservation/
Despite our protest government brought the bill for reservation, why because our protest in not having complete support from the masses.
I think we should start
"Non-Violent Non Co-operation Movement"
I have following ideas for it.
1.Avoid use of all kind of Public Transport- We have to convince people not to use any public transport such as buses, trains. People who are going for summer vacation/holiday should be requested to cancel there journey. All office goers should not use any city bus.If they have not vehicle available, then they can ask for help to their friends. If they can not strike like us atleast they can do us this favours. Also people should stay awaya from
2.No-phone day-Please switch of your mobile whole day-no sms,no ring tone down loads-no mms.As we can not ask private telecom operator to shut down their services.Only youth for equality people keep atleast 10 lines for queries. All people should be requested keep their mobile of all days-especially working in govrnment/public secotr. For People working in private comapanies can communicate to their collegues directly, no matter they are working in MNC or some small comapanies, their office won't be bigger than multi storeyed building-especially who are working in software comapnies. They can ask their HR to enable Messenger so they can communicate to team member/TL/PM directly. We can't request them to go on strike as it will send wrong message to world outside.
3. No banking days- We shold ask bank employee for our support. If they cann't go on stike,we shold request people to suspend all their banking related work.
4.No admission anywhere till our demands are accepted- we should request student for not taking admission in any college school.student should also be refrained for appearing any exam.not by force ,but by request and choice only.
5. also there could be No recriutment day.-plz don't attend any walk-in,intervies.
6.We should request all india traders association to go on stike with us.shut down all operation.ya we know they will have loss, but for loss of few days can be gain for coming generations.also if goverment acts on bill they have to pay taxes also, of course 8000 crore rupees politician won't pay from their pockets.people have to bear this tax also.
7. people should switch of light every day for 2 hours in beiginning as part of protest. all india complete black out.
8. Keep continue wearing white shirts as justice and democracy are dead-we want to show our condolence.
How is the idea guys.if you are ready we can start it from monday, after all we haveto publish it in all national newspapers.Till then i am using my brain and hope u will also use it for-what else could be done as a part of Non-Coperation movements.I am sure we can do it provided we are united. we have to iclude people from all spheres.
After all we are answerable for coming generations.
And we have one great reason to care above everything -Our great loving Nation India.
I request you to keep it totaly Non-violent otherwise people will loose faith in us.
Your frnd-
sunny
Why this congress govt is mum on this issue...but they have to pay for it .The most important weakness of politician is their vote bank . If we all youth get united and not vote for UPA govt or anyone who support reseravation based on caste then it will give impact on them ...anyway they will pay for it ..I am not gonna vote for UPA or congress govt.
My one vote is not one every youth of our country is equal to 40% of vote bank so its huge...my one vote and everyone's one vote will make difference
non voilence & Non cooperation movement will be best solution for this
If you want to shoot Arjun singh like Rang de basanti style ...you can shoot anyway it will not make difference ...kill there family members then it will affect them it will terrorise them ...humilate family members of politician ....they are there weak point .....just humiliate them in public
